Every Neighbourhood, Any Condition
Call [PHONE]Edmonton is a big city to sell a car in. It has around 400 neighbourhoods on both sides of the North Saskatchewan River, and a buyer who says they'll come to you doesn't always mean your side of town. We do.
We buy cars, trucks, vans and SUVs in every Edmonton neighbourhood, from Castle Downs to Heritage Valley and from Lewis Farms to Clareview. Running, high-kilometre, damaged or just not needed anymore, we price each car on what it's actually worth and pay you at pickup.
Call or text [PHONE] for a firm offer.

We pick up across the whole city, including the industrial areas and the newer communities outside the Anthony Henday.

Inside the Henday, same-day pickup is common when you call in the morning. Communities on the edges of the city, like Heritage Valley, Rapperswill or Lewis Farms, are usually same day or next day.
Cars age differently here than in Vancouver or Toronto. These local factors come up on almost every Edmonton quote:
Weeks in the -30s wear out batteries, starters and block heater cords, and tired engines often fail first in a cold snap.
Spring on Whitemud Drive, Yellowhead Trail and the side streets bends rims and wears out struts, ball joints and tie rods.
Brake lines, fuel lines, rocker panels and frames rust from underneath, the top reason older cars fail inspection here.
One storm can write off a car that runs perfectly. Hail cars usually keep strong parts value.
Commuting on the Henday and the QEII adds highway kilometres that wear out transmissions and wheel bearings.
None of these stop us buying. They just tell us how to price your car fairly.
The City of Edmonton allows a vehicle on a city street for up to 72 consecutive hours unless signs say otherwise. If a car sits longer, including one that doesn't run or has invalid plates, a 311 report can lead to a 72-hour warning notice, then a ticket and a tow to impound, with the owner paying every fee. If your car has a notice on it, call us the same day and we'll usually have it gone before the deadline.
| Private sale | Dealer trade-in | Cash For Junk Cars YEG | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Typical price | Highest for clean cars | Lowest, especially for older cars | Fair for the car's real condition |
| Time to sell | Days to weeks | Same day, if you're buying | Usually same or next day |
| Cars with problems | Hard to sell | Heavy deductions or refused | Welcome |
| Strangers and test drives | Yes | No | No, one booked visit |
| Payment risk | Fake e-transfers, bad cheques | Low | Low, paid before loading |
| Need to buy a car | No | Yes | No |
Our honest advice: if your car is clean, newer, low-kilometre and you have time, list it privately. If it has issues, is older, or you just want it done, sell it to us.
A Highlander Limited is worth more than a base LE. Popular models with strong resale, like Toyota, Honda and Ford pickups, hold value longer.
The odometer matters, but in Alberta, highway kilometres are common and aren't as hard on a car as city driving. We look at kilometres alongside condition.
Warning lights, noises, leaks, and whether the car shifts and brakes properly. A car that needs a $500 repair is priced very differently from one that needs a $5,000 repair.
Rust, hail damage, dents, cracked glass, worn seats and smells (smoke and pets especially).
Previous accidents, salvage or rebuilt status, and whether it's from out of province all affect resale value.
New tires, brakes, a battery, a timing belt or a transmission service all add value. Have receipts if you can.

If you financed the car, the lender likely registered a lien. Ask them for a payout letter showing the amount owed. Once the lien is paid out and released, we can buy the car. In some cases the sale price can go toward the payout. Call to discuss.
A leased car belongs to the leasing company. Ask them for a buyout price before talking to any buyer.
If you do sell privately in Edmonton, watch for these:
With us, payment lands and you confirm it before the car is loaded.
